CERTIFIED DATA PRIVACY SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

The Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) is an industry certification administered by ISACA, the renowned international professional association recognized for its expertise in IT governance and offering eight certifications in the field. These vendor-agnostic certifications are widely regarded as the industry standard for IT professionals engaged in IT management and governance.

The CDPSE, introduced as the first of its kind, is a practical and hands-on technical certification maintained by ISACA. It confirms the proficiency of IT professionals in implementing privacy by design, empowering organizations to confidently utilize privacy technology platforms and products. The CDPSE emphasizes a holistic approach to digital privacy, enabling its application across an organization's processes and production, regardless of its industry or product offerings.

Previously, data privacy governance primarily concerned data-focused companies and service providers. However, the landscape has evolved, and now even organizations that traditionally did not prioritize in-house IT teams are recognizing the need for data security professionals with certifications like the CDPSE. Law firms, marketing companies, retailers, and manufacturers are among those seeking data security professionals to ensure the secure handling of personally identifiable information (PII) within their websites and data networks.
