CERTIFICATE OF CLOUD AUDITING KNOWLEDGE

The Certificate of Cloud Auditing Knowledge (CCAK) is the initial certification designed for professionals in the industry to showcase their expertise in the fundamental principles of auditing cloud computing systems. This credential and training program addresses the need for technical education in cloud IT auditing that was previously lacking in the market.

By harnessing the cloud expertise of the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) and the traditional audit expertise of ISACA, the CCAK credential combines their knowledge and experience to provide the most effective solution for cloud auditing education. This benefits both CSA and ISACA members and certification holders, as it builds upon the body of knowledge covered in CSA's Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) and complements ISACA's ANSI accredited certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, and CGEIT.

When an organization undergoes an audit and utilizes cloud computing, the approach to meeting control objectives differs significantly. Compared to a legacy IT system, a cloud tenant does not have the same level of administrative access and employs a variety of security controls that may be unfamiliar to traditional IT audit professionals focused on assurance and compliance.
