Following confirmation of booking, delegates will be sent carefully-selected pre-course work. The pre-course work will require around 15 hours of study prior to the course start date. The P3O®Foundation and Practitioner training event is an intensive 5 day course that includes the P3O®Foundation and Practitioner examinations. Upon booking, Joining Instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will be sent. In addition, delegates will be required to complete 2 hours homework each evening which will be set by the trainer.
One-hour duration with 75 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 35 out of 70 (there are five trial questions). Success in this examination indicates that the candidate would be able to act as an informed member of a Portfolio management team using the P3O®method within a Portfolio environment. Please note that success in the Foundation examination is a prerequisite for that candidate to move forward to the Practitioner examination.
An 80 question objective test examination with a pass mark of 40 (50%). Two and a half hours’ duration. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate could apply P3O®to the running and management of a non-complex Portfolio. P3O®Practitioner status should be Re-Registered every 3 to 5 years via the P30® Re-Registration examination.
The P3O®Foundation and Practitioner 5 day course follows a two part structure. The first three days of the course involve familiarization with the content of the P3O®manual, preparing for the Foundation examination. Following successful completion of the Foundation examination, delegates will spend one day preparing for the P3O®Practitioner examination, which will be taken on the final day of the course.
The P3O®Re-Registration Course is a 2-Day Workshop with presentations and discussions on Case Studies, culminating in the Re-Registration examination in the second day.
